On December 5th, 2007, 2:25 PM EST, weighing in at 8 proud pounds and 3 ounces, measuring 20 inches in length, squirmy little Samantha Jo Steckerl rip-roaringly came screaming into this world at Northside Hospital in Atlanta, GA.

Waving off all pain meds her mother braved four agonizing hours of the most intense Pitocyn induced labor, almost making it look easy, while her father stood bravely by providing what meager support he could sans passing out. All attending were extraordinarily impressed with Mom’s strength and stamina, and baby’s cuteness. The staff at Northside has been most attentive, supportive and kind as mom and baby, both in excellent health, rest from their ordeal. The Steckerl’s aim to be home for the weekend to get some well deserved rest.

In a few weeks Samantha Jo begins her life long education as a seeker. She plans to learn how to find absolutlely anything on the Internet.
